LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT
Temecula, CA – If approximately 80% of the population has smoked weed and perhaps 50% on any given day are puffing tuff, you would think that medical marijuana availability would be a foregone conclusion but to make that assumption means you know little about the culture of cannabis. Medical marijuana patients are left hanging in the wind not for a lack of compassion from other stoners, but rather for a lack of concealment. This is the bane for law enforcement too.

Temecula, CA – The night before I went to Old Town for the candlelight vigil of Shaun Vilan’s family, extended family, and friends to remember his untimely death, Aloha J’s threw a benefit show for Little ‘D’, Shaun’s now nine year old son. Again this adventure started with a phone call but as luck and the ‘force’ would have it, I was right across the street when the call came in about the upcoming show in a few hours. I finished my assignment and popped in to see the band.

PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON
There was a time when I was an agnostic. It wasn’t just about religion, it was about life. Maybe ‘God was out there’ was to me like maybe there was magic. This was in spite of being raised up in the Church and because of going to the movies, respectively. But after the ‘Miracle of the Cat with ten lives’, I took God seriously. From this I knew that if I searched hard enough in history, there would be a connection between the fabled, magic past and present day reality.
