THE REAL McDEAL, DONALD

Temecula, CA – I’ve written plenty about the bullshit prohibition of marijuana/hemp/cannabis. I’ve covered and explained the lies, given you, Dear Reader, the sites where you could go and check my facts for yourself. I’ve pointed the way for you to explore the doctors’ studies the feds can’t seem to find. (Iowa joke: what do you call three bureaucrats standing in a circle? A dope ring!). But my readers are an intelligent lot. They don’t just want the facts or opinions, they also want some soundbytes.

With a little help from my friends, here’s the skinny on who made pot illegal and what they actually had to say about it. Bear in mind, the time frame is the art deco period that gave us Hitler, way before Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and even Jackie Robinson. Don’t forget though, it wasn’t before Jesse Owens or Jim Thorpe.

"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing [please note this music reference, all you teabaggers], result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others." [‘Co-mingling’]

"…the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races."

"Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death."

"Reefer makes darkies think they're as good as white men." [Gee, I thought golf did that.]

"Marihuana leads to pacifism and communist brainwashing"

"You smoke a joint and you're likely to kill your brother." [Maybe, if he left with your chronic sack and your hot girlfriend.]

"Marijuana is the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind." [Hahahaha, yeah, right.]

- Har   Harry J. Anslinger – most direct founder of marijuana prohibition: [editor]

Mainstream media then that was controlled by William Randolph Hearst printed these kinds of headlines and stories for the people who could read and write, the ones most likely to be running society as pillars of the community:

"Marihuana makes fiends of boys in thirty days – Hashish goads users to bloodlust."

"By the tons it is coming into this country – the deadly, dreadful poison that racks and tears not only the body, but the very heart and soul of every human being who once becomes a slave to it in any of its cruel and devastating forms…. Marihuana is a short cut to the insane asylum. Smoke marihuana cigarettes for a month and what was once your brain will be nothing but a storehouse of horrid specters. Hasheesh makes a murderer who kills for the love of killing out of the mildest mannered man who ever laughed at the idea that any habit could ever get him…."

Other nationwide columns:

"Users of marijuana become STIMULATED as they inhale the drug and are LIKELY TO DO ANYTHING. Most crimes of violence in this section, especially in country districts are laid to users of that drug."

"Was it marijuana, the new Mexican drug, that nerved the murderous arm of Clara Phillips when she hammered out her victim's life in Los Angeles? THREE-FOURTHS OF THE CRIMES of violence in this country today are committed by DOPE SLAVES – that is a matter of cold record." [Guess all the stories about lynching, labor union warfare, and racketeering were just some reefer madness.]

Since alcohol prohibition had just been repealed the head of what equaled the DEA 70 odd years ago, needed tax revenue to show he was doing his job. This was the original mindset and objective that criminalized marijuana. Pot smokers were turned into a criminal ‘product’ to provide a ‘market’ for the Justice (?) system. This same mindset closed the borders in 1964 to make illegal aliens out of Mexican citizens who had migrated north since the Spanish founded Los Angeles. When you make people into commercial products through law manipulation (misinformation, racial slurs) you are turning capitalism and the free market system into a machination for continued status quo food chain commercialism. Speaking of such things, Hearst and Anslinger were then supported by DuPont chemical company and various pharmaceutical companies in the effort to outlaw cannabis. DuPont had patented nylon, and wanted hemp removed as competition. The pharmaceutical companies could neither identify nor standardize cannabis dosages, and besides, with cannabis, folks could grow their own medicine and not have to purchase it from large companies. These same companies would later morph into the ones who introduced the advanced vaccine schedule which is responsible for the one-in-150 autism rate the ‘new’ polio (see archive stories).

After completing a two year plan to brainwash the mid-30s society using these sensationalist reports fostered by racist ideology and funded by special interest, all these guys needed was evidence. They of course did find their evidence – A two year campaign of manipulated media-opinion coverage was presented as documented evidence to a government committee (‘tobacco science‘ of the same type that is now passed off as showing vaccination shots have no correlation to autism). The committee passed the legislation on. And on the floor of the house, the entire discussion was:

Member from upstate New York: "Mr. Speaker, what is this bill about?"

Speaker (Sam) Rayburn: "I don't know. It has something to do with a thing called marihuana. I think it's a narcotic of some kind."

"Mr. Speaker, does the American Medical Association support this bill?"

Member on the ‘tobacco science’ committee jumps up and says: "Their Doctor Wentworth came down here. They support this bill 100 percent."

And on the basis of that lie, on August 2, 1937, marijuana became illegal at the federal level.

Presently the enforcement bodies, especially the ones who receive federal non-profit grant money are using similar tactics to maintain negative opinion on marijuana… Current public remarks, ads, and press releases do not contain the same racist sentiment because the use of marijuana among all races here in the USA is proportionate, but for some strange reason arrests for possession is considerably skewed when viewed by race.

Though only a recreational user of marijuana, I have seen the medical wonders of relief brought about by smoking the plant first hand. I have read the reports about the usefulness of hemp and its long history in more than one account. As the taxpayers of this country keep paying for two wars, infrastructure building in third world countries like Afghanistan, 1000 military bases in foreign lands, and the ‘royalty’ of government as the tax base dwindles due to unemployment and tax revolt, the revenue money that chased Mary Jane into being a Mary Magdalene may be the incentive to bring Mary back into the fold of society. On a wholly side note, no one I know who smokes weed has been sick so far this winter. (Story source – Ghost Lady James)
