Menifee: Motorcycle crash on Menifee Road kills Moreno Valley Man and injures Woman
Menifee, California - At 726pm, an officer from the Menifee Police Department was flagged down in the area of Menifee Road and Simpson Road regarding a traffic collision that had just occurred. Paramedics arrived shortly after 730pm and attended to the victims.
The initial investigation indicates a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Menifee Road approaching Simpson Road. For an unknown reason the driver lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to fall to the ground.
The male driver and a female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle, coming to rest in a dirt field south of the intersection. The male suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He is identified as Robert James Fryer, 48, of Moreno Valley, California. The female, who has not been identified, suffered serious injuries and was transported via ambulance to Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
