LOCAL BAND INVERSE FEATURED ON MYSPACE FRONT PAGE
December 31, 2008 by PT Rothschild.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM YOUR REVIEW STAFF
Temecula, CA – In the ‘local boys make good’ column, the band INVERSE, widely known around town and making new friends up and down the coast with each mini-tour, has signed a deal with MySpace Records and been featured since Monday on the front home page of the MySpace website. This is the same route that many bands have used to take that next step to national recognition, including my faves Meg&Dia, who were recently signed last year (‘08) to Warner Brothers Records. Congrats to one of the hardest working bands in show business this side of James Brown’s Famous Flames. Flame On, Inverse!
Well, Sports Fans, I have to admit that I missed my prediction for 2008. I said that this past year would be explosive. Instead it was implosive as George Bush singlehandedly brought this country to its economical knees. Certainly worse than the ‘no new taxes’ recant done by his father, to be sure. Now we have to be wondering whether George has set us all up for the Amero, and if Obama will deliver the message that we have all been sold into banker slavery. BTW, a reader wanted to know just where in the AZ zone they were building that highway to divide the country. Look in Douglas County for that highway project.
Though the mood of the country has changed, the economy hasn’t. Businesses continue to close around town and across the country. The automakers got enough money to oil their sprockets until Obama moves his family out of that Washington hotel. Meanwhile the heat keeps getting turned up and the water turned off in Gaza. Also the ‘war’ in Africa continues to widen as Muslim factions have now joined the fray by providing arms to various factions like the CIA used to do during the ‘cold war’. We have provided the world a blueprint on how to disrupt any region, anywhere. Well, us and Animal Farm.
So, Dear Readers, we here at the Review wish everyone a safe New Year’s Eve, and I wonder if my prediction for last year being explosive will ring true for this year. Regardless, I hope everyone who reads this column will fall under the protection of the 23rd Psalm. Meanwhile keep it here to stay ahead of the MSM curve because we alerted you to the coming recession back in ’07, we scooped everybody on showing Andy to be a Dick, and we keep you in the loop on political news, scene views, and new music reviews as no one else. And thanks to you, because while the MSM ratings, especially print , have remained flat or declined, the Review readership has grown month to month and year to year, and that’s just from the stuff we deem to publish, not everything we could publish. We stay informed to keep YOU informed. It’s what we do, when we do it, and why we love it. HAPPY NEW YEAR! MASTER SPLINTER RULES!
