SO WHAT’S WRONG WITH ‘BROWN SUGAR’?

IF OBAMA IS THE ANTI-CHRIST, WHY AREN’T THE ŰBER CHRISTIANS ESTATIC?

Temecula, CA - I’ve been riding around a lot lately and not spending much time in the office, which actually frustrates me and makes me apathetic. But the other part of me says, why not enjoy this period of time, as I am on my day job’s clock, and with the boss? All this car riding time gives me a chance to listen to ‘talk’ radio, and most times I say to the driver, ‘how can you listen to that ****? You’re a Muslim and that announcer would just as soon ship you back in a turban as not.’ I suppose what infuriates me the most is that the talk radio personalities he listens to, all talk trash on Obama. They were for McCain before the election and now they are ‘sore losers’. I have friends who have lost MySpace friends because they voiced support for Obama. And the things that are whispered about in some ‘christian’ circles. ‘He’s Ai-Qaida and growing the group from with-in’; he’s a ‘secret’ muslim; he’s going to ‘round up’ the Christians and take all their guns away’; are just some of the ‘digs’ and ‘hating’ by otherwise intelligent people going on daily. No one in these circles is blaming the $5 a gallon gas pump blues for the declined and over-inflated economy, or the ‘war’ aka 2.5 Billion dollars A WEEK.


These things, these realities, have all disappeared, especially in the steady glow of the dream that Obama is the Anti-Christ. And all these ‘christians’ and conservatives are upset that he might be. And that’s what has me puzzled. Being ‘churched’ the logic is simple. The sooner the Anti-Christ gets here and does his thing, the sooner the Second Coming happens. Don’t believe me, look it up! So you have to ask yourself, are all these folks, these distracters, acting like Peter when he advised Jesus to leave town prior to his arrest, or is it that these ‘christians’ just don’t really like ‘brown sugar’? Can a little ‘brown sugar’ be that bad? I mean, The Rolling Stones wrote and play a rocking song called ‘Brown Sugar’, oh wait, to some folks I guess that’s not a selling point. My first wife was all ‘brown sugar’, and all my wives and subsequent girlfriends thereafter have also all had a little brown sugar in them. So lighten up, get behind the new President and be gracious like your Party leaders, Bush and McCain, have been. On the flip side of the ‘brown sugar’ issue, maybe now because of Obama (being half white) some of the country’s ‘brown sugar’ will give a listen and develop appreciation for songs from Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, and of course, The Rolling Stones, especially their live stuff. You know, see how the ‘other half’ lives, so to speak.
