Murrieta, California - On 10/06/08 at about 05:30 am the Murrieta Police Department began to receive reports from several victims of vandalism from

the 25400 block of Blackthorne. Approximately 13 homes on Blackthorne and 2 homes on Willowbend were vandalized. The suspect(s) used spray paint to write on the homes, driveways and vehicles at the various residences.

Murrieta Police is actively investigating this crime in order to identify the person(s) responsible. The tagging included the monikers ‘OCP’ and ‘Dwel’ - anyone who may be a witness or has knowledge of this crime is encouraged to contact the Murrieta Police Department at 951-696-3600.

DOW SINKS FARTHER; BAIL-OUT NEWS NO HELP  

Depressionville, CA – As I write this Monday column which will cover more than the Stock Market, the Dow is down 666, and Futures are down 764 points respectively. It’s past the ‘smoke ‘em if you got ‘em’ point. It’s to the ‘there are no Atheists in foxholes’ point. And yet, all the news and the finger-painting going on really misses the ‘how’ we got into this mess. Folks, Osama, yes, OSAMA, not Obama, was right in his prophesy of 2003. The ‘war’ in Iraq will bleed the country red and green. Surprisingly enough, all the Wall Street pundits and even the man on the street seems to not comprehend that you cannot sustain a $2.5 Billion a week drain on the economy and SURVIVE. The Arabs are not spending that money on any U.S. market. The money is leaving the country and never coming back. When you add in all the Wall Street greed and the Golden Parachutes, you have the recipe for economic disaster and a roadmap to another ‘Great Depression’, though I fail to see just what was so ‘great’ about it. My grandmother told me stories about it and they weren’t pretty. President Bush has got his legacy; WORSE PRESIDENT EVER!!!! The only good news is that green overpowers black, in that, even rednecks are looking at Obama with fresh eyes as the only hope for the country. They are re-thinking about electing a guy older than dirt with 8 mansions, 13 cars, and a moose shooting bimbo who can see Russia from her house. Now if only local voters could look past the incumbents in the same financial reflection. I can’t see Russia from my house, only Murrieta and Temecula, but I can see the future from my Bible. ‘This too shall past’ does not compute. We’ll in for a penny, in for a pound.
