Temecula Crime: “THERE’S A RIOT GOING ON” - ALOHA J’S BECOMES LATEST SLUGFEST AFTER CITY CLOSES DOWN ‘REAL’ VENUES

T-Town, CA - Have you ever seen those Warner Bros. western movie barfights? You know, the ones that Bugs Bunny always pushes Yosemite Sam into that leave him dazed and confused?

Well, last night around 1AM at Aloha J’s during the tailend of a massive hip-hop show that featured the Long Beach Posse, a security guard said something to the rapper onstage about getting off the stage. His friend said, ‘Hey, don’t talk to my friend that way!’ Maybe the security guard thought he said ’stand up’ instead of ’shut up’, but whatever, the fight was on! People were jumping behind the bar, grabbing whiskey bottles and breaking them over other people’s head.

“People, blood, and guts were everywhere. It was a ball of confusion. Five squads were there, plus ambulances, and more officers in riot gear rolled up as I scrambled for the closest exit. Chairs were flying as well as people. It was crazy!” reported my inside source.

I smirked to myself, ‘nothing like this ever happened at The Vault or Java Joz’. There’s more to putting on a show than just turning on the mics. I guess the current city councils don’t agree with that assessment. Maybe they need to attend a music show they’ve now made possible from people who can afford the $4500 special use permit, which must include a ‘Fight Club’ clause instead of the non-alcoholic, kid and family friendly shows that took place when they allowed a real scene here.

“Let’s get reeaady to ruuummble!”

Does this remind you of the riot that happened in Old Town when the cops tried to shut it down about ten years ago?
