Temecula: The Planning Commission Agenda has been posted online for September 17, 2008

A total of 15 minutes is provided so members of the public may address the Commission on items that are not listed on the Agenda. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes each. If you desire to speak to the Commission about an item not on the Agenda, a salmon colored “Request to Speak” form should be filled out and filed with the Commission Secretary.


Any person may submit written comments to the Planning Commission before a public hearing or may appear and be heard in support of or in opposition to the approval of the project(s) at the time of hearing. If you challenge any of the projects in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing or in written correspondences delivered to the Commission Secretary at, or prior to, the public hearing.

Any person dissatisfied with any decision of the Planning Commission may file an appeal of the Commission’s decision. Said appeal must be filed within 15 calendar days after service of written notice of the decision, must be filed on the appropriate Planning Department application and must be accompanied by the appropriate filing fee.

Lake Elsinore: Gold Medal Olympic Shooting Champion Kim Rhode has her Shotgun stolen at Lake Elsinore Outlets

Lake Elsinore, California - On Thursday, September 11th, 2008, at about 2:51 pm, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Lake Elsinore shotgun.jpgelsinoreoutletmallsuspects.jpgStation were dispatched to the Lake Elsinore Premium Outlet Mall in the City of Lake Elsinore on a report of vehicle burglary. The location of the mall is 17600 Collier Ave. Deputies contacted the victim, Gold medal Olympic Champion - Kim Rhode. She said her shotgun, a Perazzi, Model MX12, 12-gauge, over-under shotgun, was stolen.Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Station responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The information received was that unknown suspect(s) smashed the passenger side door window to her pick up truck and property was taken from the extra cab portion of the truck.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Lake Elsinore Station is seeking the public’s assistance in information to two individuals of interest seen near the victim’s pick up truck before the crime occurred. The two individuals are described as Hispanic males last seen driving a red or maroon colored Ford elsinoreoutletmallsuspectscar2.jpgExpedition.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reminds the public, this is the beginning of the high shopping season and valuables should be locked and stored in secure areas. Please park in well lit areas and areas of high foot traffic.
