FOOD: The Greek Place in Temecula is my kinda place
Temecula, California - I stumbled upon the glory of the Greek Place, 27326 Jefferson Ave #17 Temecula Ca 92590 by chance - there used to be a great little Italian place there. I have kept going back for more food because it is one of Temecula’s gems.
The decor is simple and clean with a small wine bar near the entrance. The owner (who really is Greek) often comes out and says hello and at lunch time you might very well be served by her. The menu is standard Greek with items like Humus and Pita, Dolmades, Gyros and Chicken Souvlaki Plate. I am a strict vegetarian, however all of my friends I have taken for lunch have all described a wonderful meal. All of the Vegi food is great and the service is quick. The Falafel Plate is wonderful and comes with Hummus and Pita and a small Greek salad.
I have come to enjoy the Greek Coffee quite a bit. It is very strong and just what you need after a tasy meal. I would highly recommend The Greek Place to you and your family!
