FOOD: Hillcrest’s Crest Cafe serves up the goods to San Diego

San Diego, California - Having been elected to the Romoland School Board this past November 2007 has changed my life in many ways. One of the ways my life has changed is that instead of coming across random cool food spots on tour with my band, I find them while at conferences.

The last few times I have been in SD for a conference I have made my way a few blocks north of downtown to the Crest Cafe 425 Robinson Ave San Diego Ca 92103. This little cafe is a great place to find tasty Vegetarian food at a reasonable price. I have now ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I have not had a bad meal. The service has been prompt every time, the place is decorated in a new art deco style and they serve good beer.

If you live in the Hillcrest, Bankers Hill or the Downtown area you most likely already know about this amazing place, and if you dont them get your butt in there. If you are from out of town and stumbled across this site while looking for a tasty bite, close the laptop after writing down the address and catch the first cab you see to the Crest Cafe!
