Last Summer Escape: At The Press restaurant in Claremont California
August 16, 2008 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
So we are currently at The Press in downtown Claremont waiting for the Woolly Bandits to take the stage. The food was great, the
atmosphere is wonderful and we have a cold beer. I will have more detail on the restaurant and the Woolly Bandits soon!
UPDATE - We had a little drama at The Press, I’ll fill you in on that on Monday. It was settled quick, but it will be a good reminder / example to show goers and food fans, so stay tuned to The Review for the details. Have a great Sunday while we are rock at Warped - maybe we will see you there!

Last Summer Escape: Hotel Indigo in Ontario California, Awsome with a capital A
August 16, 2008 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
We arrived here at Hotel Indigo, Ontario California’s brand new boutique hotel near the Ontario International Airport at about
430pm. We walked in and were instantly impressed. It has a clean look, a new wave Art Deco feel. The place is spotless, as it just opened 4 weeks ago, and exactly why we wanted to get in here and review it!
We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who quickly checked us in and directed us to the many features the hotel had, like the Phi Cafe (it serves Starbucks, Beer, Wine and 3 meals a day), the business communications room, the exercise room and the stylish pool. We then made our way to the room, with
two queen beds, executive style. It cost $110 with tax on a Saturday.
We opened the door and were amazed. The room was stylishly appointed with beautiful furniture. The shower was big, tiled and very clean. The coolest features are a room with wall to wall hardwood flooring and a ceiling fan! There is also a 36″ LCD HD-TV with a lot of channels. This room also comes with a wet bar, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and iron board and the nicest towels I have
enjoyed at a hotel in this price range. The beds are comfortable and extra clean.
With out a doubt, this Hotel Indigo brand is a winner for the twenty and thirty-somethings who are looking for a great hotel at a great price. This brand is ran by the Intercontinental Hotel Group, the same group that operates fine brands like Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotels. I say cheers to Hotel Indigo as I go to get ready for a night out on the town in Claremont California at The Press.

Last Summer Escape: Hotel Indigo, The Press, Woolly Bandits and Warped Tour are all on the menu
August 16, 2008 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
Today marks the beginning of the last big trek for my family. My wife Jeney Kingsbury, my Daughter Apryl and I are off in just a few minutes to check into a boutique hotel in Ontario called Hotel Indigo, eat a tasty vegetarian at The Press in Claremont while watching The Woolly Bandits rock the stage.
We will get up tomorrow and head to the last date of this years Warped Tour at the Home Depot Center in Carson to see bands like Rise Against, The Academy Is, Reel Big Fish, Say Anything, Angels and Airwaves, Ludo, Our good friends Animo and Riverside’s very own Panima. It should be an awesome weekend, we will be reporting on it every step of the way, as we embark on our last summer escape before school starts and reality returns to the Family.
