Suspect nabbed after attempting to get custody of kids at local courthouse
Murrieta, California - At 1030am this morning, detectives from the Murrieta Police Department arrested Kelle Lee Jarka, 39 yrs. old, for the murder of his wife, Isabelle Jarka. The arrest occurred after Kelle Jarka made an appearance at the Southwest Justice Center in the Family Court where he was attempting to regain custody of his two children. The children have been staying with relatives of Isabelle Jarka since her murder on 4/28/2008.
Case History
On 4/28/2008 at 845am the Murrieta Police Department responded to the Jarka home in the 39600 block of Tamarisk St. Kelle Jarka called 9-1-1 to report his home had been burglarized while he left the residence to run errands which included shopping for more baby formula, despite the fact there was plenty of baby formula in the home.
The Investigation
Over the past month, Murrieta detectives and forensic investigators from the California Department of Justice have been diligently and painstakingly analyzing evidence collected from the family home, Kelle Jarka’s vehicles and his personal belongings. On the morning of April 28th, Kelle Jarka’s initial call to 9-1-1 was to report the burglary and he did not immediately reveal to police dispatchers that his wife may have been murdered until 26 seconds into the call. Detectives have been able to determine several of Kelle Jarka’s initial and subsequent statements were inconsistent with the substantial amount of the evidence collected at the crime scene as well as additional evidence discovered over the course of the investigation.
Detectives believe the forensic evidence demonstrates Kelle Jarka intentionally staged the crime scene to make his home appear to have been burglarized by an intruder. Detectives believe Kelle Jarka intentionally destroyed some of the physical evidence before he called police. Additionally, Kelle Jarka purchased several life insurance policies in his wife’s name within weeks of her murder which totaled over $1,000,000 in value.
Domestic Violence a local issue
The murder of Isabelle Jarka appears to be a case of domestic violence. Since 2003, six of the last eight homicides in Murrieta have been domestic violence related, where the victim was murdered either by an estranged or current boyfriend or husband. One additional homicide during this period involved the murder of an infant by the mother’s boyfriend.
Local non-profit group S.A.F.E. (Safe Alternatives For Everyone) is a leader in the Valley by providing counseling services to victims and families affected by domestic violence. If you are a victim of domestic violence or know someone who is, contact the S.A.F.E. offices at 951-587-3900 or visit http://www.safefamiliesca.org/index.html

SHOULD PEOPLE IN GLASS HOUSES HAVE STONES?

GOD SHOWS HIS DISPLEASURE WITH 3 SCENES GLOBALLY
Temecula, CA – As flash flooding strikes T-Town and surrounding areas today, the thought suddenly dawned on me that perhaps God is a scenester. Here’s what I mean. About a year ago the junta in Myanmar, who renamed Burma with the new name, beat and killed a bunch of Buddhist monks who were protesting for freedom. The world noticed and read the news then moved on to other topics, like Brittany Spears here in the USA. God, through Mother Nature sent them a cyclone on May 2-3 that wiped out 78,000 with another 56,000 missing and presumed dead.
At the start of the Olympics when China got the nod to host the world-wide event, a small uprising of protesting Tibetan monks was brutally met with 800 Chinese riot police armed to the teeth. The result, another bunch of dead monks who were simply asking for freedom in their own country, a country that has been Tibet for over 2000 years. Mother Nature, with God’s nod, sent China a massive earthquake that so far has left 51,151 dead, 29.328 missing, and 300,000 injured. I told my local friends before both catastrophes hit that no matter what the religion is, God DOESN’T like it when he sees monks getting beat. It would seem that I made the correct call. Now as I see the streets flooding here in T-town with this sudden, through predicted, rain downfall, it strikes me that perhaps God likes new music also. The Bible tells us that David both sang and danced in the Lord’s victories, and The Lord God was happy about that. Since David wasn’t playing any BMI or ASCAP tunes, then it would seem that God does indeed like new, original music that tells it from the heart. Music that you found in the new music scene that used to be here in the town people coming up for re-election want to say is ‘teen friendly’. Some may joke that it was a ‘conspiracy theory’ to say that the ‘city’ fights the cool music teens, but a look at the past history says it’s no theory, it’s a reality. Now with this uncommon weather in late May happening here and certainly causing some people alarm, it appears that God and Mother Nature may see that ‘conspiracy theory’ also as a reality and NOT like it.
