Bill Gould and his take on Menifee incorporation and the candidates running for city council

The publisher of The Full Value REVIEW and Romoland School District Trustee, Bill Gould, has posted his picks and opinions about Menifee cityhood and the candidates running for the first city council on his personal website.

Please visit http://www.VoteBillGould.com for an inside look on the issues from a resident of the proposed city of Menifee.

Hillary might have said a dumb thing…

… but I have to disagree with PT Rothschild’s assertion that she might have insinuated Obama’s assignation.

Temecula, California - I will admit, I am a Hillary supporter, and have been since the beginning of her campaign for the Democratic Nomination. I believe that she would be the better president based on her having more experience on the world stage and the fact that I think she has a better chance of beating John McCain in the fall based on her strong showing in many key states. It is many of these states that hold the key to the 270 electoral college votes needed to win the Presidency.

I don’t think that any of that really matters in regaurds to the comments made by Hillary. She was pointing out, in a not well received wording, that you never know what can happen. Her quitting before the race is over is like in baseball when the batter hits directly to the shortstop and jogs slowly to first base, assuming he will be thrown out by the shortstop. It is lazy and shows lack of fight, and one thing Hillary Clinton has plenty of is fight. Sometimes in life your opponent drops the ball, or overthrows and I believe that Hillary is running through, hustling to first base in hopes she can get there before the ball, or in case of an error. In the end, if she does ‘ground out’ - I think she is a good sport and will support the Democratic home team and rally her troops to make sure an Obama victory is a reality in November.

WHAT WAS HILLARY THINKING WHEN SHE OFFERED THE ASSASSINATION SCENERIO?

MAYBE CHECKING THE CLINTONS PAST ARKANSAS HISTORY WILL HELP

So Cal, USA – Back in the day when Bill Clinton was President, it seemed that things were fine, at least at first. Bill was smart, he played the sax on ‘Arsenio’ wearing shades, so he was cool, and it seemed that life was good. Then the ‘Whitewater’ scandal hit and wouldn’t go away. Shortly after that, the sexual dirty laundry hit the clothes line. Aside from the scandals Bill Clinton was doing a great job as President. He was signing stuff to protect the environment, he was hiring black people in key positions, he seemed to be ‘takin’ care of business’ across the pond via the CIA, and he was balancing the budget so folks had money in their pockets. As I said, life was good. So the first time I met someone from Arkansas, I jokingly asked if they knew ‘Bill Clinton’.
To my surprise they gave me an earful, and none of it was good. So OK, I put that down to an Arkansas person who didn’t like Bill. But as I bumped into more and more people over time from Arkansas, the reply was always the same. They didn’t like Bill or Hillary, though there was never any specific reason, like ‘he raised taxes’ or ‘he didn’t do anything while in office’. I checked and in the election, Bill Clinton didn’t carry his own state, a feat duplicated by Al Gore in his bid for Presidency. What does it mean when your home state won’t vote for you? Does it mean, like family, they really know you? After a while a website opened up offering gag Clinton money, cartoon T-shirts, bumper stickers, and other memorabilia, none of it positive. Aside from this, more and more ‘reports’ surfaced about the Clinton climb to Gubernatorial power, a climb littered with the bodies of 35 ‘people who got in the way’. Even shortly after entering the Presidency, a key man of the Clintons was found dead under suspicious circumstances though the death was ruled a suicide. Later in the Administration’s term, Ron Brown, another right hand man, died in a plane crash that also seemed suspicious at the time. Reports coming from the anti-Clinton camps suggests these men were killed because they represented a weak link in the Clinton chain. The John Travolta movie, ‘Primary Colors’ was supposedly based on the rise of Bill Clinton to the Presidency and we all remember how the homey country charm of the lead character revealed a seamy and murderous underside at the climax of the film. So perhaps Hillary misspoke, or perhaps Hillary was just doing a Freudian slip about the reality of this country, a reality that she herself knows to exist.
