ANARCAT COLLECTIVE - FOOD NOT BOMBS PROVIDE A GREEN SCENE
Temecula, CA – The south end of the duck pond over by Pat & Oscar’s at Rancho Cal and Ynez Road
provided the latest
‘scene’ gathering in T-town. Hippie kids, metal heads, punkers, crustys, Goths, anarchists, and just plain young rockers, some of whom remembered or participated in the scene at The Vault and Cuppy’s, all met in the name of green education, the truth about meat, and Earth Day festivities, all organized by Bridget, Janelle, Squeege, and others both in and out of the scene.
A good time was had by all at the peaceful happening which also featured some out of town musical guests, a customized bus
that John Madden would envy, free food, and enough educational literature to keep you reading for a
month. The poster flyer advertising the event was done by and shows Bridget, Janelle, and Bridget’s brother Tim ‘shouting out’ in a field with waist tall grass. Truly the Earth Day-Fest that happened in Temecula this Earth Day was something to shout about as these pictures can attest to.
