HOTTER THAN PLAYBOY, CLEANER THAN HUSTLER

Sometimes a story is too hot for a mild-mannered family-man publisher to handle. That’s when a firebrand like me is called in to break out the news. Whispers have been circulating that a certain Fresno radio station’s calendar is so hot, (how hot is it?) that it leaves a scorch mark on your tool shop/garage wall when you take it down at year’s end. With no local Temecula ‘scene’ or scene characters making much news nowadays, though there are a number of music shows being put on still, supplementary items now get the ‘if it bleeds it leads’ spotlight.

Stepping into my ‘Sherlock Holmes’ modus operandi, I hit the trail with my ‘it’s a dirty job, but…’ motivational sticker dangling from where a ‘baby on board’ symbol would be. So move over Hef, and let some real and hot homegrown (California) calendar girls step forward.

The girls I speak of can be found on this year’s 2008 KRZR 103.7 FM station calendar and are hot enough to make Larry Flint take a step out of his wheelchair. The ‘Girls of KRZR’ pictured on the poster calendar photographed by Nathan Frye (209.769.7979) make the women in Playboy Magazine look as pristine and delectable as the female citizens who protested T-town’s Vagina Monologues production. Suffice to say these KRZR girls are hot! Hotter than last year.

Positioned just so in ever so slightly naughty poses, these girls have that ‘girl next door’ look you would use your binoculars on after dark. And they have that ‘like what you see’ smile staring back at you. Whew! Of course KRZR is a rock station (nothing ‘smooth’ or ‘best mixed’ here) and you can listen online or check out pics of more locals lasses in their ‘rate the meat’ section by going here.
