POI FIREMYSTICS ATTRACT RICH MOTHS TO EVENT FLAMES
Fresno, CA – While many here in T-town are barely getting by in these tight fiscal times, not everyone is squeaking under the money bar doing the ‘don’t spend’ limbo. Take, for instance, all those patrons who plunked down $400 a plate to watch Firemystic Productions’ members spin flaming wads of rawhide coated with distillate to produce different color fireballs.
This past weekend a huge crowd participated in watching the poi spin at an event in downtown Fresno outside their museum. The group which is led by Ms. Gaymarie Fontana and each member of the group is motivated by their own personal rationale. Practicing outdoors in Gaymarie’s backyard, which is possible since Fresno rarely gets snow or ice in the winter, I watched the group practice in anticipation for last weekend’s event.
Ex-Tmecula scene sparkplug Keirah Robbins who recently joined the group has been spinning for about a month and provided this story tip. For more info or to make arrangements to have this unique entertainment at your next event, call 559-246-5183 or go to www.firemystics.org
