New York Giants WIN Super Bowl 42 in Arizona (as we predicted!!)

Glendale, Arizona - As we predicted here on this website, the New York Giants won Super Bowl 42 in Glendale Arizona today, Sunday February 3 2008. Eli Manning played an amazing game leading his team at the end of the 4th quarter to a come-from-behind victory. The defense of New York did a fantastic job holding the Patriots and sacking New England Quarterback, Tom Brady, on a few different occasions. Eli Manning was named the Super Bowl MVP, and for good reason considering his terrific performance. For more info and stats visit msn.FoxSports.com.

Eli Manning had a good performance and an amazing 4th quarter drive, but for most the game his offense didn’t move a whole lot. Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyora lead that defense and held the once perfect New England offense to 14 points. Either of these two deserved the MVP more then Manning because if you watched all year, holding that offense to 14 points is a tremendous effort in itself. But that’s just my view.
