Once again American Idol is back. Once again I will be writing about the show. If the show is good this year, you will be seeing a lot of AI postings. After a rather lousy year (2007) with great talent like Sanjaya, the ratings machine is back with promises of a new set, more detail into the GOOD singers and less celebrity coach crap. Well, call me a skeptic, but I think I have heard this all before. Either way ill be watching tonight and I let you know what I think.

Experience the excitement of a real Big Band dance party at the Temecula Community Recreation Center. Party the night away with the Royal Crown Revue as they perform many a memorable hit! They are credited with starting the swing revival and also featured in such films and television programs as “The Mask”, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” The Memories Swing Team will provide professional dance demonstrations and lessons to the audience. There will be food, cars, a dance competition, and dance show with prizes.

The Big Band Ballroom Extravaganza will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2008, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm and will be located at the Community Recreation Center, 30875 Rancho Vista Road.
