ROCK FOR RELIEF – INVISIBLE CHILDREN BENEFIT SHOW
NICOLE WHITAKER & CUPPYS COFFEE STAGE SATURDAY SHOW FOR KIDS
Murrieta, CA – Yes, Sports Fans, the war in northern Uganda is still a viable reality and as such, the children aka the ‘invisible children’ are 
still at risk, like everything else the IC movement has done. Nicole, known as Niki around the scene and party planner extraordinaire, has started an Invisible Children club at her home campus in San Marcos. The first IC event planned is happening this Saturday and will feature guest speakers from the San Diego IC headquarters, IC merch, a movie showing, and these great bands: Jupiter, Nice Day, Chrysalis, and Coachella faves, Shrunken Wool Sweaters. It was a no-brainer for Johnny, owner of CUPPY’S Coffee, to say ‘yes’ to the event when it was first proposed to him by Niki several months ago.
Some bands have dropped and others added from the original line-up, but Niki stuck to her guns, well she is a ‘cowgirl’ don’cha know, and got the show together without much help from anyone else, proving once again, there is more to any ‘scenester’ than appears at first glance, which is probably why this reporter has become more and more involved in the positive aspects of such a cool panorama. Be there and be counted in making a positive change for children halfway around the world in a country that has no oil and gets no mention from the ‘spin zone’ of Billy O’Reilly.
