“REMEMBER, REMEMBER RON PAUL’S 5^TH OF NOVEMBER”


USA, yesterday – Presidential hopeful and ‘dark horse’ (so far) Dr. Ron Paul amassed a whopping 4.2 Million dollars in a one day cash haul proving he is someone who is gaining a strong grassroots following mainly through the internet. By setting a one day record for GOP fundraising, it shows a lot of people, young and old, conservative and liberal, democrat and republican alike are paying attention to Dr. Paul’s campaign points. These include him being the only GOP candidate to emphatically state that he would pull all the troops out of Iraq ASAP, and most other countries we have troops (“fifty years in South Korea is long enough”), do away with the Federal Income Tax, legalize (and tax) marijuana, give states more power while shrinking the federal bureaucracy, and bring back the importance of the Constitution. The rest of his philosophy can be seen on his web site which can be assessed through MSN, Google, and MySpace (he is on my top 36 friends). He has picked up speed as more and more dissatisfied Americans discover his message, something he has been saying for 30 years in Congress. Now it seems that the rest of the country is starting to catch up with his now timely message. Can we all say, hummm, smoke on the water??

MORE THIEVERY AFOOT IN T-TOWN


Temecula, CA – As if something crazy is in the air, maybe some fallout from all the doublespeak, the BS, the hypocrites, and the ‘I’ll do what the f**k I please’ attitude is having an effect on the common folks. Last Saturday night at 11:11 PM, according to surveillance cameras, someone in a car, not a truck, pulled up to every mailbox on the north side of Rio Nedo, an industrialized section of T-town just off Dias, and jacked them all, opening up the rural route boxes and crow barring the U.S. Mail letter boxes. The motive appears to be simple robbery rather than an act of Guy Fawk-ery (‘Remember, remember the 5^th of November). Still, to have utter disregard for the Federal Postal system in such a way illustrates both a disrespect and a fearlessness of the Feds and possibly a sign of these lean (shhh, don’t say the ‘R’ word) times. Anyone with any information is asked to call the local T-town Post Office as I’m sure there is a sizable reward for any destruction of Federal Property, and maybe a waterboarding to boot for the guilty culprit.
