ELINA (RETURNS) – THE SHOW & CD REVIEW
Murrieta, CA - It was sometime after Java Jo’z had established itself as a ‘scene’ spot here to see tomorrow’s talent today, that a young artist breezed through one evening named Elina (see ‘Java Jo’z Alumni to Artist Song To Hit The Big Screen, 9/15/06). Unpretentious but very polished and stage savvy, the young singer who played acoustic guitar happily sang her set. By the time she finished, she had ‘stolen’ the room. The songs, all original, delivered in a style so effortless and natural, brought the room to a peak, only to be capped by the news that this singer, Elina, had a song on the soundtrack of the then upcoming animation film, Everyone’s Hero. She also had a CD to be released, also sometime in the future. And then she was gone, another ‘magic moment’ in a kaleidoscope of great entertainment during the first year of Java Jo’z. By receiving Elina’s newsletter I was able to keep up with the general whereabouts and happenings, but still Elina rolled in to do a Java Jo’z/Cuppy’s show under my radar. Seeing Elina first poised up on the stage tucked at a past memory but the backstage collection of guests kept me occupied until her last song. As I listened to her voice’s lilt lift over her delicate acoustic playing, it all came back in an instant and I muttered, “By Crom” under my breath as I breathed in the last song of the set. Never one to miss a genuine opportunity, in music anyway, I snatched up the self-titled CD, ‘Elina’, as soon as she finished the set, welcoming her back to the local scene here.

EVERYONE LIKES TO HAVE THE FULL VALUE, EVEN CABLE TV: CNN HOSTS FULL VALUE
July 30, 2007 by PT Rothschild.
Full Value TV, the video part of the Full Value Review, was selected by CNN for the video feed of the Menifee wildfire which burned over 200 acres on Sunday afternoon. Spotted by this journalist in French Valley, the actual blaze was taped by Bill Gould and Jeney Kingsbury (see preceding article and link), submitted to and accepted by the cable news organization.
The video appeared on their video homepage. This ‘next step’ in opening up the Inland Empire to the outside world comes in the wake of a number of major stories broken (scooped) by the Full Value Review and many others that have been reported by the mainstream press after being first informed by The Review.
Starting with reviews of the local new music scene, now reported in the many local print newspapers, the Full Value Review branched out into harder news with stories on the Divine Strike bomb tests, Chemtrails, the Invisible Children movement, and the maiming of the punk drummer in San Francisco, among others. Google News picked up the Review several months ago and readership is about 1000 a day and climbing.

Paul Stanley suffers heart condition before San Jacinto concert, KISS plays as a trio
July 29, 2007 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
San Jacinto, California (Reuters / Full Value REVIEW) — Paul Stanley, a singer and guitarist with rock band Kiss, was forced to pull out of a show in California on Friday after his heart started beating at more than twice the normal level, he said on his Web site.
Paul Stanley, pictured here in April 2007, co-founded Kiss with Gene Simmons in New York in 1973. The apparent tachycardia happened while the band was rehearsing for a performance at the Soboba casino in San Jacinto, California, about 90 miles (145 km) east of Los Angeles.
“My heart spontaneously jumped to 190 plus beats per minute, where it stayed for over an hour necessitating paramedics to start an IV and give me a shot to momentarily stop my heart and get it into a normal pattern,” Stanley, 55, wrote on his site www.paulstanley.com.
A normal heart rate at rest is about 60 to 80 beats a minute, according to the American Heart Association.
Tachycardia, or rapid heart rate, can cause palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting or near fainting, the group said on its Web site www.americanheart.org.
