Police Scanner: Temecula to Sun City - Car chase ends in shooting, suspects arrested

Romoland, California - On June 12, 2007, about 10:47 PM, a deputy from the Southwest Station spotted a silver Dodge Durango with stolen license plates on lower Highway 79 and Horizon View St., unincorporated area of Temecula. The deputy attempted a vehicle stop when the driver of the Durango sped away. This initiated a vehicle pursuit.Deputies were able to successfully deploy the spike strips on Ethanac Rd. and Palomar Rd. The driver of the Durango continued to evade police and drove northbound on Interstate 215. The Durango could no longer continue and exited on Highway 74 east.
