Busted robbing Elsinore Skate Park gets you arrested
Lake Elsinore, California - At 2:24 a.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Police Department were dispatched to investigate a burglary alarm that had been activated at the Lake Elsinore Skate Park.
Deputies arrived within minutes and saw three suspects inside the business removing property. At the same time an employee for the business arrived to check on the alarm causing the suspects to flee. A perimeter was set up with responding deputies and two of the suspects were detained. The third suspect fled the area and was later apprehended hiding in some brush. During the foot pursuit one deputy was injured as well as one of the suspects, both were treated at local hospitals for their injuries. It was determined the suspects forced entry into the business and attempted to cut wires to the alarm, but were unsuccessful. All property removed from the business was recovered at the scene.
The suspects are identified as Brandon Martin 20, Kyle Thomas 18, and Adam Holland 20, all residents of the City of Lake Elsinore. All suspects were booked into the Southwest Detention Center and charged with burglary and conspiracy.

Coachella Officer injured at gas station
Coachella, California - On June 02, 2007, about 10:47 PM, an officer with the Coachella Police Department, observed an older Ford single cab pick-up, blue in color with a gray stripe, 1984-1989 model year, driving recklessly in the parking lot of AMPM, located at 52183 Harrison St., City of Coachella.
The truck came to a stop and the officer walked towards the vehicle to make contact with the driver. The driver decided to put the truck in reverse in attempt to injure the officer. The truck backed over the officer’s left foot. The driver then proceeded to put the truck in drive and attempted to run the officer over. The officer had to jump out of the way in order not to be run over. The truck then drove over the grass area and was last seen speeding northbound on Harrison Blvd.
The driver of the truck is described as a Hispanic male adult, mid 20’s with short black hair, and weighed about 150 pounds.
The officer was treated and released at JFK Hospital for pain to his left foot.

Robbery and attempted car jacking in Temecula
Temecula, California - Deputies from the Temecula Police Department responded to multiple reports of an armed robbery occurring at the USA Credit Union, located at 41273 Margarita Rd.
Upon the arrival of Temecula Police personnel, several citizens provided valuable information about the fleeing suspects. An off duty Oceanside detective followed the suspects from the Credit Union and was able to provide a good description of the suspects. The suspects fled on foot and one suspect attempted to car jack a citizen in a parking lot located off Overland Drive. That suspect was later captured and is in custody.
With the assistance of Temecula citizens, 4 of the possible 7 suspects were taken into custody. Detectives from the Temecula Police Department are actively following up on leads. If anyone saw these suspects running in the area of the Temecula Costco or getting into a Silver Ford Escort or Dodge Neon type vehicle, please call the Temecula Police Department at 951-696- 3000 and ask for Sr. Investigator Wenker.

Two Hemet Youths arrested in Murrieta after car break-in
Murrieta, California - Police Officers responded to a report of 2 or 3 suspicious men in the 39600 block of Wild Flower Drive. As officers were arriving in the area, a black Hyundai sped away from the area with its lights off. Officers stopped the Hyundai at the corner of Blackthorne and Dovetree and the two men inside the car fled from the officers. A perimeter was established and a yard to yard search conducted. The two men were captured in nearby yards. Officers recovered car stereo equipment from the Hyundai that was stolen from a truck on Wild Flower Drive.
Both subjects, 17 years old, were arrested for vehicle burglary, receiving stolen property, conspiracy and resisting arrest. They were transported to Southwest Juvenile Hall.
