ROLLING STONES FAN ALERT!!

THE WAY IT WAS, IT STILL IS, SOMEWHERE
This Rolling Stones Alert is for all the people who saw the STONES somewhere this past year. The ticket stub you still have can be used to seek access to a section of the website called ‘Virtual Ticket’. This is a ‘members only’ (ticket stub holders) kind of thing and has been around in the year and a half I’ve been a member. Well Sports Fans, they’ve updated and put in some fresh video. A video I recommend is the ‘Live From River Plate’. (Virtual Ticket, check-in, feature videos, live performances).
Twice this year I saw the STONES, both times memorable in their own way. But what really made me a STONES concert goer was that first STONES show, because it was a great concert. The greatest concert I had ever seen. It was a ‘benchmark’ concert. The ingredient that made it great, that would be the crowd. When you are in the midst of thousands of people, standing and jumping, faded slightly from beer and pot, rocking completely to the rhythm, with the band totally into pushing the music and beat until every pore in your body is screaming for more air, folks, it’s a religious experience without the religion. That was my first STONES show and I was in the company of four close friends of mine, sharing the moment. I can’t take you back to that concert but you can experience that same feeling when you see the 8+ minute live version of ‘Satisfaction’ on ‘River Plate’.
This is what makes the STONES number one in the world and keeps packing them into wherever they play. There are thousands of people, young people standing on the floor, like I was at my first STONES show, and they’re jumping and sweating, waving t-shirts, singing in one huge choir at the top of their lungs, just partying their asses off, throwing off alpha waves that leap from the video. It’s not a Kodak moment, it’s a Kodak video. Curiously enough, two of the other videos are from shows I saw, imagine that!
