Dumb Criminals: Theft suspect arrested in front of county jail

Murrieta, California - On Thursday, March 15, 2007, Deputies from the Southwest Station conducted a vehicle check on a broke down vehicle that was partially on the sidewalk in front of the Southwest Justice Center on Auld Road in Murrieta. The hood was up and the vehicle appeared be stranded due to mechanical problems.

You got served: Wanted gang member arrested in Temecula

Temecula, California - Deputies from the Temecula Police Department’s Street Enforcement Unit working together with the California Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Team conducted a surveillance and arrest operation at 44516 LaPaz, in the City of Temecula.Alberto Arias (28), a self admitted 18th street Gang member, from Temecula, was located at the apartment complex on LaPaz. Arias, is an armed and dangerous fugitive with a $250.000 dollar felony warrant and a no bail parolee at large warrant for his arrest. Mr. Arias has eluded capture several times in the past and Street Enforcement Deputies had been actively looking for him for over a month.
