Driver Alert: Temecula to have St Paddys day DUI checkpoint

Temecula, California - The Temecula Police Department will be conducting a checkpoint on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at an undisclosed location in the city from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The purpose of this checkpoint will be to check for impaired drivers and
check driver’s license status.
Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the Business, Transportation and Housing agency. The California Office of Traffic Safety and Temecula Police also want to remind you that if you choose to drink alcoholic beverages, please designate a sober driver before getting into a vehicle. As depicted by the attached photo; a Saint Patrick’s Day celebration, which ends with an arrest, is no celebration! Remember “Drunk Driving… Over the Limit, Under Arrest!”
