NEWT GOT NOOKIE

Dictums Dictate Modern Modem of Political Morass
Back in the day when this greatest of all modern nations was being formed, political sayings or dictums carried a lot of weight and were not personal. Dictums like ‘Don’t shoot till you see the whites of their eyes’ or ‘Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead’ really said something that stirred the heart. Even after we were a young ‘cock strong’ nation kicking ass out in the world, we still uttered slogans like ‘Tippecanoe and Tyler too’. But then something happened after ‘The Silent Majority’ went silent and we started hearing word slogans become personal and self-centered. It began with the era of ’I am not a crook’, followed by the infamous ‘Read My Lips – No New Taxes’. With the rise of ‘Sex, Drugs, and Rock ‘n’ Roll’ the political scene shifted to a ‘don’t shoot till you see the whites of their thighs’ and we got ‘I didn’t have sex with that woman’. Now from that oral era we hear another presidential hopeful has-been tell us ‘well, I did have an extramarital affair going on at the time when I tried to bring down a popular President on oral sex charges, but “I’m not a hypocrite.” Well Newt Gingrich, let’s look up the definition in Webster’s, which says, ‘an insincere person, one who pretends to be what he is not.’
So Newt, you say what you tried to do to Bill Clinton wasn’t personal, you were just doing your job, your personal live was different. You helped orchestrate an attack on a powerful government figure because of the extramarital sex going on in his life, giving the impression that you were morally outraged, when you, as a powerful government figure, were probably having more extramarital sex in your personal life since everyone knows your get ‘more’ in an affair than in ‘groupie sex’. Sorry Newt, I fail to see how that position isn’t pretending to be someone you’re not. I do respect you though for not telling people that you’re not a liar. Thanks for coming clean ten years later when you’re testing the ‘presidential waters’. You’re a poster-boy politician worthy of addressing any commencement crowd at a university named Liberty.
