American Idol Week 1 - Girls rock and the Guys kinda stink
February 21, 2007 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
Los Angeles, California - Here at the FullValue REVIEW.com we like to bring quality articles on important issues, hard hitting, fact riddled journalism at its finest. Articles written to move you to action, words meant to rock your mind because we believe in the cause. Descriptive details of tasty delights or thoughts on how that hotel was not a ‘best buy’ as described in the booklet.
This is not one of them, sorry guys. This is…..(rediculous pause, damn you Seacrest….)……American Idol.
This will be the first in a series of articles on the performances (or lack there of) on the mega-hit show, American Idol. Like many of you, some of us here at FVR watch the show every year and without fail we end up laughing our butts off at some stuff and other times we are actualy pleased with what we hear. In this series we will let you know our thoughts on the performers, the judges and we will comment on Seacrest too, just for good measure.
On that note, here is an abreviated note or two on the very few performances deserving of mention this week:
LaKisha Jones, Gina Glocksen, Melinda Doolittle, Jordin Sparks sang their hearts out tonight. Last night Chris Sligh, Brandon Rogers and Phil Stacey rocked the mic quite well, however the other performers failed to live up to the term Idol. The majority of the performances lacked any kind of inspiration or flair, in fact or dear friend Apryl, who at 6 years old LOVES this show, fell asleep on the mens night toward the end of the show. She just couldn’t take it anymore. Unfortunatly for her, she missed Phil Stacey’s performance, one of a select few performances that didnt make me feel like I took a Tylenol PM. I hope that a couple of them go home for sure. I’d tell you who they were, but it was so boring I already forgot there names.
