Self Against City, Panima, The Fold, Rome at Monte Vista School Theater on Oct 28 2006
January 6, 2007 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
Rome:
Rome is a rock band from Riverside, California. With new member David playing bass, everything turned out great. Guitarist Julian was dressed in a hot dog costume, so he could be considered a “HalloWIENER”. They write metaphorical songs about future hopes, past experiences, and past-future relationships. They hope for their songs to just enjoy their music and come to their shows because they personally like what Rome creates. They already have a personal CD for fans or people who are interested in their music to listen to.
The Fold:
The Fold is a four member band from Chicago. The fold is influenced by bands such as Far, Elvis Costello, and Sunny Day Realistate. They already have loads of great merchandise for fans to buy that range from hoodies, shirts for boys, fitted shirts for girls, and more. They are an already signed to Tooth and Nail Records and have been together for about one year now.
Self Against City:
Self Against City is a band that sounds a bit like Jimmy Eat World. “I think that they sort of sound like Taking Back Sunday,” shares a spectator. Self Against City consists of band members Johnathan [vocals], Jack [guitar], Jeffrey [guitar], Hunter [bass], and Justin [drums]. Self Against City has signed them to the ever so famous Drive Thru Records. They are expecting their full length album out in stores January 9, 2007, titled Telling Secrets To Strangers.
Panima:
Panima is a hella amazing band that comes reigning from Riverside, California. This ‘So Cal big rock’ band has been a band for a fairly short 11 months, but by the way they perform it would seem longer. Panima writes songs about happiness which is clearly stated when listening to their tunes. Their influences include Jimmy Eat World, Acceptance, the Rocket Summer, and lead singer David shares that he would be nothing without Ryan Cabrera.

Drysdale, Adrena, Averyce at Temecula CRC on Nov 18 2006
January 6, 2007 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
Averyce:
Averyce is a rock band from Murrieta, California. Averyce is a five member band, bringing nothing less than great music. Their influences include Mars Volta, lots of local bands, bands that are trying 110% to make it in this world right now and a very sincere thank you to their biggest influence-their fans. Their message to their fans, through their music, is to just simply be you, have fun, and follow your dreams and passions. “If you want to see passion and what love for music is, come see us.”-Ryan.
Adrena:
“Adrena is, to me, a hardcore band and that is something that Temecula doesn’t see too often…hardly at all,” tells a member of the audience. Adrena is a really rad band with a lot to offer. They have double guitars, a bass, drums, singing, and screaming, not to mention that they are all very attractive. Adrena has only been a band for one month and already they are getting shows and playing awesome music that they have written.
Drysdale:
Drysdale is the local and well known band of Temecula. They always play a great show, make their fans happy, and sound amazing. Band member Mike Jordan has been in the band for roughly 3 months now and they have not sounded better. Everything is going great for Drysdale and I’m sure that their future is going to be even better.

Dance Party Nov 17 2006 with Midnight Dance Craze, Jupiter, Counter Intelligence, The Trade
January 6, 2007 by Bill Gould, Publisher.
The Trade:
The Trade put on a wicked show while making their second appearance a Java Joz. The Trade has songs that are about some pretty serious stuff, and their reason for playing music to an audience has to do with some very deep reasons. One of their songs ‘Hush’ is about a Native American woman that they met one day. She told them about her story about how she had been abused, so it inspired them to write about her, God, and helping people. ‘Strong Points’ is about dedication and ambition for goals that one may desperately want to achieve in life. After interviewing guitarist/back vox Derek, he gave me great reasons why they play the great music that they have made, and reasons for people to come see them; great reasons. “We have a different vibe, sounds, message…we are all Christians…Christ is bigger than music…change perspectives…”
Jupiter:
Jupiter is back to kick some booty with their rad tunes that beautifully comes pouring from them, making one feel amazing. There isn’t a song that Jupiter plays, that a person can’t dance or clap a beat with their hands to. Every song has uniqueness, every song has a beat, every song is magical. Jupiter can only be described as ‘hunky dory’. There isn’t much to say; they are just pure greatness!
Counter Intelligence:
Counter Intelligence is a two man show, consisting of one singer and another who works on their programming. I’m sure that I have said this once before, but Counter Intelligence’s sounds were made for that of a rave at some club, on a recording. They are very neat to listen to live though. They have a very trippy sound to their music.
Midnight Dance Craze:
Once again, the amazing Midnight Dance Craze strikes the Temecula music scene again! The music that they create is indescribable. It is all too much for one to put into words. Listening to their music will make you dance. Dancing to their music will liberate you; it will leave you with a feeling of vanity. With different colored lights and a fog machine to go with their show, you will find yourself lost in a swirling masquerade of sound.
