Temecula, Ca - It is with sadness that we report that Jacob ‘Jake’ Nelson, the 24 year old Son of Temecula City Manager Shawn Nelson passed away at 1:05am on Sunday October 22 2006 following a early morning traffic accident on Interstate 15 in north San Diego county. The collision occurred one mile north of the Deer Springs Road exit in the southbound lanes at 1:43am on Saturday October 21 2006.  Our sincere condolences to the Nelson Family and to all of Jake Nelson’s friends, info on services will be posted when it is released.
