‘the divine use of animosity & ridicule’ – ODD THOMAS CD Review 

In listening to ‘the divine use of animosity & ridicule’ by ODD THOMAS, you tend to wonder about the reason for the ‘ODD’ moniker. Perhaps, on listening to the lyrics of ‘the divine use of animosity & ridicule’, THOMAS’ first name should be MAD, because when you slip beneath the everyday angry-at-society rapper lyrics, you find deep personal hurt covered with a hard scab of anger (‘Fatherfigure Skating’). Coupled with this rap anger management studio effort is above average beat/sample varieties done in the midst of high quality production values. Definitely worth a listen and more than a point to ponder on. ODD THOMAS joins the growing number of ‘under the radar’ socially relevant music artists using the medium to try and herd some ‘sheeple’ away from the real matrix.
