WHY HEMP MATTERS TO YOU - A Call To The Governor
August 24, 2006 by PT Rothschild.
‘In the ’80’s the EPA chief announced that if we kept burning fossil fuels ( oil, coal) and cutting down trees for wood and paper, we would be facing [dire] circumstances in 30 to 50 years’ - Rock City News, vol.24, no.15
Al Gore’s documentary has proved the above prediction to be true. What can you do? Call the Governor at 916-445-2841. When the operator comes on, say, “I support allowing farmers to cultivate HEMP. Please sign AB1147. Thank you.” Email the Governator at www.govmail.ca.gov.
Here is reason #32 why: HEMP wood is ten times stronger, uses way less toxic chemicals to process (acid rain), and takes only 6 months to grow compared to forest harvested wood.
The bottom line - The HEMP plant breathes faster than any other ’so if we leave the trees alone and (just) grow HEMP for paper and wood, this would make an amazing difference on our air quality and ozone protection.’ - EPA Chief
